Katy is an aspiring public health professional with a passion for supporting families across generations. With a growing specialization in environmental health, climate change, and toxicology, she brings a unique perspective to caregiving—connecting daily care with the broader health impacts of our environments.
She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health in Global Environmental Health at George Washington University and serves as a Senior Program Assistant at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Her research experience includes projects on asthma, green space access, diabetes disparities, and environmental exposures in vulnerable communities.
